This lovely rural cemetery is fenced with decorative wire fencing on the front and other fencing on the sides. The large property appears to have been enlarged at one time, with the oldest and taller stones on the left side. The sign is located on an arch over the driveway gate and a flag pole is located in close proximity to the sign. There are nice signs showing the different sections of the burial ground. The cemetery is located across the road from the Powers Chapel Church and there is also a large wooden pavilion located in the same area. A Historical Marker and a Confederate Soldiers Plaque are found nearby. The land has an abundance of large and various types of trees, and benches are scattered about for your comfort. Many family plots are surrounded in curbing, and there is plenty of room for expansion. When you stroll across the property will you notice, angels, roosters, metal crosses, real and artificial flowers, statues, and other varied decorations. Powers Chapel property is very well maintained, with nice roads and clean graves.

From Hwy 77 South drive until you reach Rosebud then turn left onto Hwy 413. Drive several miles until you see Hwy 2027 and turn left. The cemetery will be about 1 mile up on the right side of the road. It is clearly visible from the road.
