She was known for her sense of style, determination and love of conversation, especially when it was about business, politics and flowers. In the last few years, Peggy spent her retirement with the love of her life Harold, her sons, her grandchildren and many, many, friends.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Bro. Leon Willis officiating. Burial will be in Eggville Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Harold; son, Brock and wife, June of Pontotoc; son, Brad and wife, Cynthia of Eggville; eight grandchildren, Kara Webb (Davis) of Port Orchard Wash., Lauren Deaton (Bradley) and Steven Young (Kelly) both of Pontotoc, Cody Bishop of Tremont, Abbey and Sadie Bishop, Cooper and Landon Bishop; three great-grandchildren, Carson, Aubrey and Grayson; and two sisters, Myriam Guin (Herbert) of Tupelo and Sue Edge of Booneville.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and son, Chad.
Pallbearers will be Cody Bishop, Steven Young, Bradley Deaton, Eddie Timmons, Mike Harkey, Dickie Tarpley and Terry Martin.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2014, at the funeral home.
