He was a supervisor with the Maryland Correctional Institution for 23 years until retiring in 1990. He was previously employed by Cushwa Brick in Williamsport. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II. He attended Calvary Temple in Williamsport. He was a past member of AMVETS Post 10 in Hagerstown, Md., Potomac American Legion Post 202 in Williamsport, Conococheague Improved Order of Red Men Tribe 84 in Williamsport and Elks Lodge 378 in Hagerstown.
He is survived by his wife, Tempe Glenn Carter Teach, Williamsport, whom he married June 14, 1947; and son, Timothy Edward Teach, Hagerstown.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Lorraine French, Cora Kendle and Patsy Startzman.
Graveside services were held at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.
