Lester Zerby, 76, of Berrien Springs, died this morning at his daughter's residence in St. Joseph.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Arden United Methodist Church, Berrien Springs. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Kerley & Starks Funeral Home, St. Joseph. Burial will be in Spring Run Cemetery, Scottdale. Memorials may be made to Hospice at Home, Berrien County Cancer Service or Arden United Methodist Church.
Mr. Zerby was born April 22, 1914 in Baroda Township. He resided in Berrien Springs for many years and was formerly employed by the Berrien County Road Commission.
Survivors include: Two daughters- Mrs. Lewis (Gloria) Stelter of St. Joseph and Mrs. Jerry (Sandra) Thompson of Stevensville; a son Jerold Zerby of Berrien Springs; a sister, Maybelle Delinger of Three Oaks; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel, on July 29, 1988
