Josephine (Thrasher) Johnson, 60, of Greer, SC, went home to be with our Lord Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at McCall Hospice House.
A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Levy Jefferson and Elza (Grubbs) Thrasher.
A member of Cashville Church of God of Prophecy, she was a retired textile employee.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Johnson of Enoree and Wendy McClellan of Anderson; one son, Craig Johnson of Inman; special friend, Bobby Smith of Greer; three sisters, Martha Henderson of Greer, Elsie Wood of Greer and Dianne Thrasher of Richland; three brothers, Marshall Thrasher of Greer, Ben Thrasher of Cleveland and Levi Thrasher of Greer; six grandsons; two great-grand-daughters and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, April 18, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel in Woodruff. Interment followed in Green Pond Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation was held 1:00-2:45 P.M. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions could be made to McCall Hospice House, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, S.C. 29680.
