Geraldine A. Willis, 89, formerly of Clearfield and most recently a resident of the Ridgeview Elder Care Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville died on Monday, December 26, 2005 at the center.
She was born on February 17, 1916 in Olanta, a daughter of the late Samuel and Edra (Henderson) Bauman.
Mrs. Willis was formerly employed as a nurse's aid at the Clearfield Hospital for 14 years. Prior to that she had worked at the Clearfield Taxidermy and the Clearfield 5 and 10.
She was a member of the Clearfield Senior Citizen Center and the Clearfield Free Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald S. Walther and wife Sabrina of Dallas, TX and Robert B. Walther of Albion and a half brother and half sister, Kenneth Bauman of Carlisle, OH, and Erla Amon of West Chester, OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Blair Peoples, her second husband, Bruce Walther and her third husband Frank Willis, a son Dennis H. Walther, two brothers, Robert and Claude Bauman and three sisters, Florence Bauman, Marian Baker and Ruth Spangler.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Stephen D. Shields officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8:00 P.M and Thursday from 10-11:00 A.M.
