Kenneth L. Wamsley - Command SGT. Maj. USA Ret.
Kenneth L. Wamsley, born June 11, 1918 in Montana, passed away Feb. 9, 1998 in Tacoma. He served in WWII and the Korean Conflict with the 1st and 2nd Infantry Divisions. Wamsley served as a sergeant major with the 18th Infantry Regiment, the 8th Infantry Battle Group and as Command Sergeant Major of the 4th Infantry Division. He was a life member of the Ray C. Roberts V.F.W. Post 969 and the Military Order of the Cootie (an organization within the V.F.W.)
Survivors: Loving wife; four sons; two daughters; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Sunday, Feb 22 at V.F.W. Post #969, Tacoma. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
