Reverend Logan of the Presbyterian church was in charge of the services. Interment was in the local IOOF cemetery.
The beautiful floral offerings which was sent by her many friends show the high esteem in which she was held in this community.
Edna May Megenity, daughter of Nellie May and William Harvey Wamsley, was born October eighth, Nineteen Hundred and Seven, at Ilo, she being the first child born in the town now known as Craigmont.
She grew to womanhood in this city. She received her grade and high school education in the Craigmont Public School, receiving her diploma in May 1927. The following year she attended the Lewiston Business College.
On March 30, 1929 she became the wife of Irel Megenity.
About a year ago her health began to fail and she passed away August 27, 1930 at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane.
She leaves to mourn her a husband, Irel Megenity, brother, Clair Wamsley, a father, William Harvey Wamsley, half-brother, Kenneth Wamsley, two half sisters, Bernadine and Doris Wamsley of Eugene, Oregon, also six aunts, Adeline Mitchell and Jettie Hart of this city. Clara Lougee of Spokane, Angeline Wamsley of Asotin, Lill Marshall of Arizona, and Adol Taylor of Portland, two uncles Sam Wamsley of Asotin and Arch Wamsley of Lapwai.
