FORD, MRS. IVA - age 91, passed away on Monday, May 5th, at her home. She was born on December 12, 1922 in Knox Co. to the late Walter and Myrtle Sayne. Mrs. Ford was retired from UT Hospital after 22 years of service and was a member of Tennessee Avenue Baptist Church. She is survived by: sons, Tom Ford, Rick Ford, Dean (Lucretia) Ford, David Lynn Ford, and Ernie (Rhonda) Ford; daughter, Mary "Sue" (Rocky) Hall; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Wilma Leach and Gladys Herron. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by: husband, Fred A Ford; brother, Cecil Sayne; sisters, Mary Evelyn Miller, Lola Bright, and Eva Cook. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Highland South Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 8th, at 11:00 a.m. in the Highland South Memorial Park.
