Mrs. Alice Behnke, 71, of 116 Dewey St., Brillion died Friday.
She was born in the town of Rantoul on March 25, 1898, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kleinow.
On May 18, 1921 she married Fred Behnke Jr., in Rantoul, and Mrs. Behnke died in 1958.
Mrs. Behnke moved to Brillion about 10 years ago. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Brillion, and the Ladies Aid of the church.
Survivors include two sons, Wilmer and Lester H., Brillion; five daughters, Mrs. Walter (Cordula) Maile, Mrs. Allen (Zapora) Abel, and Mrs. Milton (Dorcella) Lau, Brillion; Mrs. Alverna Bartel, Valders and Mrs. Arthur (Loretta) Krepline, Reedsville; 43 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at Trinity Church, Brillion, with the Rev. Arden Stuebs officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
