William H. Volk,76, of Bradenton, FL, died June 6, 2005. Born on October 3, 1928, in Toledo, OH, he moved to Bradenton in 1994 from Ft. Wayne, IN. He was a certified optician for 40 years in Indiana, and had been employed at Sam's Club in Bradenton. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Elks Lodge, and was a Shriner, all in Ft. Wayne.
Survivors include a daughter, Debera R. (Robert K.) Smith of Kokomo, IN; a son, William I. (Cynthia) of Ossian, IN; a sister Willa Volk-Adams of Sylvania, OH; a granddaughter, Sarah Volk and three step-granddaughters, Rachel, Melissa, and Jessica.
