William Volk Sr., 77, if 2122 Upton Avenue, died today in Toledo Hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Volk was a lifelong Toledo resident. He was manager of the lube house of the Gulf Oil Corp. 30 years, retiring in 1957. Mr. Volk was a member of Vernon McCune Post, American Legion. He was a World War I veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Grace; daughter, Mrs. Willa Adams of Toledo; son, William, Jr., of Fort Wayne, Indiana; five grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 11a.m. in the Herman Birkenkamp Mortuary, with the burial in Toledo Memorial Park. The body will be in the mortuary after 7 p.m. Friday. Vernon McCune Post will conduct services at 9 p.m. Friday
