Funeral services were held for Miss Edna Whitney who died at the Bemidji Hospital after a long illness. Burial will be in Pine Ridge cemetery at Turtle River.
Miss Whitney had lived in the Bemidji area for about 25 years.
She is survived by a sister, Miss Anna Whitney of Bemidji and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Kate Whitney, 1201 Park avenue, with whom she made her home. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
