WATERVILLE - Constance M. Collins, 92, died April 18, 2014, at the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care in Augusta. She was born in Topsham, Feb. 10, 1922, the daughter of Adelard and Alice (Fortin) Lachance.

Mrs. Collins was a graduate of Topsham High School. She volunteered at Sacred Heart Soup Kitchen. She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting and knitting. She loved her family and friends. She looked forward to traveling internationally with her husband, Russell Collins. Mrs. Collins was a Eucharistic minister for the homebound.

Survivors include brother, Edgar and wife Connie Lachance, of South Paris; brother, David Lachance and wife Laurie, of Manchester, and their sons, Michael and Andrew; niece, Linda Spencer and husband Chris and their daughter, Nicole Frechette and husband Paul, all of Alaska; and nephew, Deacon Dean Lachance and wife Susan and their two sons, Jacob and Zachery, of Windham.

Her family would like to thank Goudreau Retirement in Winslow, Woodlands Senior Living in Waterville and MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta.

Committal prayers and burial will be in Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 163 Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
