Mrs. Sawlivich had been a weaver at the woolen mill in Brunswick, Wyandotte Mill in Waterville and the Cascade Woolen Mill in Oakland. She enjoyed working in her yard, going to church, Christmas decorations, cooking and friends and family. She was a caring person in the neighborhood.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Sawlivich of Sidney; a daughter, Linda Spencer and husband Chris of Anchorage, Alaska; granddaughter, Nicole Clark Frechette and husband Paul of Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Connie Collins and husband Russ of Waterville; brother, Edgar Lachance and wife Connie of South Paris; two nephews, David Lachance and wife Laurie of Manchester and Deacon Dean Lachance and wife Sue of Augusta. She is also survived by her extended family, Brenda Sawlivich, Linda Gatto, granddaughter Mallory Gatto and Andrew Sawlivich and his wife Sue, all of Sidney.
Committal prayers and burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Fr. Leonard Leclair Chapel, Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Dr., Augusta. (Morning Sentinel 12/31/2008)
