HUNSUCKER, Emily Sue 72 years of Sinking Spring Community, died Saturday, December 25, 2004 at her residence. She was born in Adams County, Ohio on March 11, 1932 the daughter of Charles and Anna Leava (Hemmings) Smith. She had worked for 18 1/2 years at the Good Shepard Nursing Home in Springfield and was a member of the Moose Lodge. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by two granddaughters Christian Shaw, Nicole White and four brother and one sister. She is survived by her husband of twenty five years Samuel Hunsucker; four sons and daughters-in-law; four daughters and sons-in-law; a stepson of Springfield; a stepdaughter, of Springfield; a stepbrother of Michigan; a stepsister, of Michigan; 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the WYLIE-THOMPSON FUNERAL HOME in Sinking Spring with Carey Hilterbran officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice of Portsmouth, Ohio.
