Nina Belle Pritchett of Columbus, Georgia, formerly of Kingman, age 76, died Thursday night, September 9, in Doctors Hospital at Columbus. She was born in Parke County, April 22, 1906, the daughter of William A. and Vera Cartwright Shirk. A member of Waterman Baptist Church and Hilltoppers Senior Citizens Club of Kingman, she was an elementary school teacher for 36 years.

Surviving are a daughter, Judy Osterhaudt of Crawfordsville; a son, Marvin D. of Kingman; a brother, Paul Shirk of Lakeville; a niece, Loretta Gibson of Columbus, with whom she had lived since July; and two grandchildren. Her husband, Charles, died in October 1980.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Waterman Baptist Church in Lodi with Rev. William Lehman and Rev. Dean Hartman officiating. Burial was in Silver Island Cemetery at Lodi. DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga was in charge of arrangements.
