Rites Wednesday

Orville W. Graham, 84, a Circleville resident for several years, died at 3:20 p.m. Monday in Rush Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for eight days. He entered the hospital after spending several months at the Jackson Nursing Home.

A retired contractor, painter and decorator, Mr. Graham lived in Knightstown before coming to Rush County. He was a member of the Rushville Church of Christ and the Morristown Brotherhood and Sisterhood.

The son of George and Sarah Robbins Graham, he was born in Osgood, IN., on October 18, 1882. On November 24, 1901, he was married to Myrtle A. Abernathy, in Rush County, who died December 24, 1963.

Survivors include two sons, Clayton Graham of Knightstown and Emery Graham of Fortville; one daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Gertrude) Jeffries of Denver, CO.; two sisters, Mrs. Iva Matney of St. Petersburg, FL., and Mrs. Irving (Jenette) Reuter of High Point, N.C., 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The Rev. Charles Carter will conduct services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Moster and Sons Mortuary, where friends may call after 4 p.m. today, with burial in Goddard Cemetery southwest of Rushville.
