Mrs. Annie Hartung. Mrs. Annie Hartung, 77, a resident of Davenport for 50 years, died at her home, 1701 ½ Washington Lane, at 3:20 p.m. Saturday following a brief illness.
Mrs. Hartung ws born in New Orleans, April 21, 1861, and was educated there. She was married to Fred Hartung in Davenport, July 15, 1897. Her husband preceded her in death, March 9, 1928. She was of Lutheran Faith.
Surviving are one daughter, Miss Mabel Carrie Hartung, and one son, Elmer L. Hartung, both of Davenport; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Houdyshell, Ursa, Ill., Mrs. Jessie Hughes, Quincy, Ill., and Mrs. Lizzie Anderson, Idaho, and one brother, Otto Keim, South Bend, Ind., three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Runge mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
