Former Syracuse resident Gerald L. Munson, 79, of died Sunday in Dade City, Fla.
A native of Syracuse, Mr. Munson resided most of his life in the Syracuse area before moving to Dade City. He retired in 1975 after several years as an automobile salesman and sales manager with Bill Rapp Pontiac.
Mr. Munson was a member of DeWitt Community Church. He was a former member of Danforth Lodge, F&AM, and a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies and Tigris Shrine Temple.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Fairchild & Meech DeWitt Chapel. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
There will be no calling hours.
Contributions may be made to Munson Scholarship Fund, in care of DeWitt Community Church.
