He was a member of the First Brethren Church where he taught Sunday School for 27 years and served as deacon for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lona (Widdows) Keplinger; daughters, Mrs. Ruby Huff, Washington, DC; and Mrs. Ethel Geaslen, Mt. Talamany; sons, Paul, C. Albert and Herschel L. Keplinger, all of Hagerstown; 21 grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Ida Norris, Hagerstown; and Mrs. Daisy Hollinger, Windsor, Pa.; and a brother, Benjamin Keplinger, Hagerstown.
Services were held at the A.K. Coffman Funeral Home; interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
