Neola Noreen Salmon, 87, of Burlington, Iowa, died at Great River Hospice House, West Burlington, Iowa, on Tuesday, April 1, 2014.
Born on March 22, 1927 in Moulton, Iowa, she was the daughter of Orley and Hazel Kirby Purdom. She married Leslie Olin Salmon on February 5, 1949 in Burlington, Iowa. He died on February 14, 2004.
She was a homemaker. She loved her pet dogs, and enjoyed flower gardening, cooking for her family and the company of others. She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by three daughters,one son, ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; four sisters, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.
