Beverly Jo Richardson, age 81 of Galena, KS, passed away at Galena Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Sunday March 30, 2014.
Beverly was born in Neosho, MO to parents Joe R. and Nola L. (Hargraves) Richardson on October 27, 1932.
She attended Joplin Schools, and spent most of her life in the four states area, where she worked at St. John's Hospital in Environmental Services.
In her free time, she enjoyed reading books, especially novels, and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Nola Richardson, one infant son, David Olin Reed, and two brothers, Ben and Gerald Richardson.
Survivors include one brother, Jerry Richardson (wife, Edie) of Canadia, OK, and two sisters, Barbara Gibson (companion, Eddie) of Galena, KS, and Kathy Dixon (husband, Sonny) of Miami, OK.
A Graveside service for Beverly will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Galena on Saturday April 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM.
Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM Saturday at Derfelt Funeral Home in Galena.
