Nephi McCleery, 80, died at the family residence of causes incident to age.
Mr. McCleery was born in Liverpool, England, on July 19, 1854, a son of William and Ellen Bellion McCleery.
He married Emma C. Farres of Union Fort in 1878, Eliza Ann Seal of South Jordan in 1889, both of whom survive. By the second wife he raised a family of nine, of whom eight are alive.
Surviving beside his wives are four sons, Leonard F. and Daniel W. McCleery, Salt Lake; Walter E. and David B. McCleery, Murray; four daughters, Mrs. Herman Wengren, Compton, Cal.; Mrs. Franklin Jensen and Mrs. Denzel Drage, Salt Lake; Mrs. Clyde Worthen, Blackfoot; 29 grandchildren; two brothers, David McCleery, Salt Lake; Edward McCleery, American Fork; two sisters, Mrs. Hannah Spencer, Bluffdale, and Mrs. Frank Spratling, West Jordan.
