Anna was known to our family as "Aunt Lulu". She was born to Luke Otten and Johanna Oeters. She had a sister my Great Grandmother Marguerite Sophia Otten, a brother Martin Herman who died tragically falling off a ladder in 1916 while attempting to fix some shutters on his parents home on Thanksgiving Weekend and a brother George Luke Otten who was born in February 1886 and died in August 1886 only living for about 6 months.
Anna married George Joseph Bischel, Jr. and they had Marguerite Louisa Bischel in 1904. Unfortunately George died June 1912 from a brain aneurysm. He was the Secretary for Heinrich Conreid of the Metropolitan Opera at the time of his death, leaving Anna widowed with 8 year old Marguerite.
She passed away in Vermont at their family home on Turkey Mountain Road in Jamaica.
