"Ottens never Forgotten!"
Marguerite Sophia Otten never liked her middle name so she never used it...She was born to Luke Otten and Johanna Marguerite Oeters. I called her NANA..She was my great Grandmother on my moms fathers side. She played the Piano and sang so I hear...She had her bestie older sister Anna Louisa "LULU"Bischel and she also had two brothers Martin and baby George who only lived 6 months or so in 1886. She married George Washington Leroy Travis and had three boys my Uncle Luke and Uncle Roy and the baby of the family was my grandfather William Howell Travis born in 1920.

My only memories of her was obviously when she was old, but she lived with us for a couple of years and I remember a warm smile and always a place on her lap...Miss ya NANA!
