Mrs. Bessie Florence King, 83, of Charleston Rt. 6, Mill Creek, died Wednesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Webb of St. Albans, after a long illness. She was a member of Hanson Chapel Methodist Church. Also surviving; son Charles of Charleston; daughters, Mrs. Josephine Wiseman of Big Chimney, Mrs. Emma Vickers of Charleston Rt. 6, Mrs. Eddie Proctor of Oak Hill; half sisters, Miss Ethel Buckner and Miss Russelean Buckner of Charleston Rt. 6; half brothers, Benjamin and Eugene Buckner of Charleston, Rt. 6. Service will be held Saturday at 2 pm at Hanson chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Carl Ryder and the REv. Edra Shinn officiating. Burial will be in the Buckner Young Cemetery at Charleston Rt. 6. Friends may call Friday after 2 pm at Albert Myers Funeral Home at Elkview.
