Mr. Ade was a foreman at Alcoa where he worked 39 years before retiring. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army from 1943 to 1946. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 11, 40&8, and Alcoa 25-Year and Retiree clubs.
Surviving are a daughter, Vicky (Mrs. Donald) Gastineau; a stepson, Tony Hughes; two brothers, Carl Ade and Clarence Ade; four sisters, Leona Pritchard, Clara Brissey, Ruth (Mrs. "Fuzz") Sackett, all of Lafayette, and Helen (Mrs. Jim) Morgan of Otterbein; and five grandchildren. Preceded by two brothers, Robert and Floyd Ade.
