Miss Valate Bruce who has been ill for some time died Sunday morning at 2 a.m. Because of the nature of the disease, no funeral services were held. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bruce, two brothers, Raymond and Clayton, and one sister, Mrs. Nona Hoff. Interment took place in the Montpelier cemetery.
