Lyla died, before 1880, in the childbirth of her twin sons. The boys, whose names are unknown, also died shortly after birth. These twins are buried in this same graveyard, with no first names or dates. Lyla's sister America is also buried here.
This graveyard is on the farm that was owned by Lyla's in-laws James and Elizabeth (Jones) Carter
