Fellman Joseph "F.J." Babin died Wednesday, February 5, 1992, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 72 and a native of Prairieville. He was a retired business owner and a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran.

Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca "Becky" Cambre and Gerald Cambre, both of Port Vincent; a son and daughter-in-law, Frank L. Babin and Judy Pettitt Babin, Pride; two sisters, Loney Kling, Dutchtown, and Verdith Bourque, Gonzales; four brothers, Ira Babin, Curtis Babin and Harold Babin, all of Prairieville, and Murry Babin, Gonzales; and four grandchildren, Michael Allen Cambre, Melissa Ann Cambre and Marc Adrian Cambre, all of Port Vincent; and Brandi Nicol Babin, Pride.

Preceded in death by wife, Corrine Woods Babin; three sisters, Louise Ficklin, Inez Achord and Maude Harelson; and two brothers, Villar Babin and Milton "Dee" Babin.
