Carl Junction, Mo. -- Grant Durham, 93 years old, died Thursday afternoon at ... o'clock [Jan 15, 1960] in his home at 401 South Roney street. He was born in Seneca February 1, 1867, and farmed near Seneca most of his life. He was married to Miss Edna Bennett in Seneca January 1, 1893. She died May 6, 1936. Mr. Durham moved to Carl Junction in 1942. He was a deacon in Carl Junction Baptist church.

Surviving are two sons, Ora Durham of Webb City and Albert Durham of Carl Junction, and four daughters, Mrs. Jessie Miller and Miss Ina Durham, both of the home, Mrs. Hazel Dixon of Carl Junction and Mrs. Laura Dixon of Pierce City.

Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Carl Junction Baptist church. The Rev. Thurman Kelley of Joplin will officiate. Burial will be in Kirk cemetery near Seneca under direction of Roney funeral home. The body will be taken to the home this afternoon where it will remain until ... Sunday afternoon.
