Mrs. Myrtle Elizabeth Forbush Richards, 59, died Sunday at 5:35 a.m. in a Salt Lake hospital from complications resulting from a fall.
She had fallen down the steps of a neighbor's house 11 weeks ago, suffering serious injuries.
A Daughter of Hyrum Henry and Elizabeth Hackford Forbush, she was born Aug. 31, 1887 at Union. She had resided there until moving to Salt Lake City in 1944.
A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she was married to James Earl Richards in Union in 1907. They later were separated.
Survivors in addition to her mother of Salt Lake City include; 13 sons and daughters, Ivan Earl Richards, Mrs. Norma LaPointe and Miss Lois May Richards, all of Salt Lake City; James Allen, Harold and Wayne Elgin, all of Murray; Milan J. and Silas Gene Richards, both of Trona, Cal.; Howard Vaughn Richards, Midvale, Marvin George Richards, U. S. Merchant Marines, Dan Hyrum Richards and Mrs. Doris Beckstead, both of South Jordan; Miss Mildred Richards, San Diego; five brothers and sisters, Reuben, Raymond and Marvin Forbush, all of Union; Mrs. Belle Thompson and Mrs. Verda Rose, both of Salt Lake City and 15 grandchildren.
