Adam Meyer, Former Resident Of Miller, Died Sunday In Huron

Adam J. Meyer of Huron, a former resident of Miller, died Sunday afternoon at St. John's hospital in Huron. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the First Methodist Church in Huron. Rev. Miller officiating and burial was in Riverside Cemetery.

The Meyer family lived in Miller for a number of years, moving in 1943 to Huron, where he was employed with Armour and Company until retiring in 1958.

Survivors include his widow; three sons, Ervin, Huron, Alfred, Enterprise, Ore., Arnold, Anaheim, Calif., six daughters, Irene, Mrs. Louis A. Wilson, Ft. Sill, Okla.; LuElla, Mrs. Virgil Hanson, Anaheim; Linda, Mrs. Don Skarin, Wessington Springs; Nettie, Mrs. Ward Johnson, Emerson, Ia.; Lena Mrs. Larry Seeman, Huron; Betty, Mrs. James Schroeder, Huron; one brother, John A., Armour; one sister, Lydia Schnabel, Tripp and eight grandchildren.
