Marguerite "Pete" Perkins, 77, of Catawba, formerly of Mooresville, died Sunday, March 20, 2005 in Catawba. She was born Sept. 8, 1927 in Mooresville, a daughter of the late Arthur W. and Reba Shumaker Perkins.
She is survived by her son, Mark Perkins of Clayton; and a grandchild, Cassidy Perkins. Brothers, Richard and A.W. Perkins Jr., and sisters, Hazel Shumaker and Helen Christy, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were Tuesday, March 22 at the Cavin- Cook Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Catawba County, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
