On Friday evening at 8:30 o'clock Mr. J.R.F. Langston died at his home in Claiborne Parish. Here he had lived for the greater portion of his life and at the time of his demise was one of the most prosperous and highly esteemed citizens of his community. He was well-known in Webster Parish, as his interests were partially centered here. He was known and admired by friends everywhere and his loss will keenly be felt by the family,

friends and the community. His remains were brought to Minden
for burial, and on Sunday at *** he was laid to rest in the Minden Cemetery. The Rev. D.C. ***-man conducted the services and offered words of comfort to the sorrowing family. Mr. Langston leaves a wife and seven children, who are heart-broken over their loss. One son, Attorney Robert Langston,
is a resident of Minden.
