Search for John McDonald
Hi I looked for John McDonald today but didn't find his grave. I did find his wife, Gwinnette Berwick which I put up on find a grave. Next time I'm in Greensburg I'll give it another look.

Hi
My pleasure to post a pic of Wm. Taliafarro's grave. I would be interested in knowing more about him as I believe him to be Confederte Veteran that served in Company C of the 18th Louisiana Infantry Regiment. Are you able to verify this information? Thanks!

John Reames Photo request
I am happy to fill your request at Sparkman Hillcrest, but I will need a burial location in order to do so. They don't give findagrave volunteers burial locations but you could get one if you called on the phone at: 214 363 5401.
Let me know the location and I will go out there next week and fill it for you.
Thanks

RE: Brooks Cemetery
Hi Marshall,

Annie Humphries Eskew was my great grandmother. She died when my grandmother was 5 or 6. Her husband was John Bunyun Eskew. He's buried in Eden Cemetery. My mom and her sisters only recently rediscovered the Brooks Cemetery with the help of a cousin. The cemetery is only about 30' by 30' and is located in the middle of a hunting club. Only the headstones that I posted have been found. The Eskew's stones are all made the same way, so we think they were all replaced at the same time. Mary's broken stone is the only one that's been found. They continue to go and work on the cemetery when they can. The last time, I went with them and took a 2 ft. screwdriver to try and find some more headstones by poking around in the ground but haven't found anymore yet. There is room for a few more graves but no one knows if there is. I'm going to pass your message on to my mother and if she know's anything, I'll be glad to let you know.

Paula

RE: Findagrave
Oops! This is the same person. She is in the Friendship Church cemetery. I was posting others in the Old Saline Cemetery. By mistake I added her to the old saline instead of Friendship. I have deleted. Thanks for catching that.

I have claimed your request for a photo of the marker. If there is an indication of unmarked it means that there is no stone. However, I know the lady that maintains the records for the cemetery so I will contact her on Monday. Ross
