DR. E.L. LANGSTON

Dr. E.L. Langston of Springhill, died Saturday morning at 9:00 o'clock in the Schumpert Sanitarium, as a result of an operation for appendicitis performed some ten days past.
Dr. Langston was 38 years of age and has been practicing his profession for about 15 years. He served for 18 months in France during the world war and upon his return to America resumed his practice and for several years has been located at Springhill.
Five years ago he married Mrs. Lillian Blanton. Dr. Langston is the son of the late Robt. Langston and Mrs. I.A. Langston and is survived by three brothers and three sisters, besides his mother, wife and little son.
Funeral services have not been arranged, but the deceased will be interred in the Minden cemetery today.
Regarding the obit I sent; it said he married Lillian Blanton... I don't know where they got that from... after checking various sources, I found her maiden name is definitely Hortman. Just thought I'd pass that on.
