Arlene M. Wellman, 63, a former Flathead Valley resident, died Friday in Apache Junction, Arizona, where she had resided since September.
Mrs. Wellman was born September 30, 1916 at Minneapolis, where she spent her early life, later receiving most of her formal education in eastern Montana.
In 1940 she married Norman Wellman. The couple lived in Colorado for a number of years and then moved to the Flathead Valley.
Mrs. Wellman was a member of the Kalispell Eagles Auxiliary and the Moose Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norman and her mother.
Survivors include one son, Gordon Jensen, Kalispell; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild; her father, Fred Broeder Sr., Kalispell; two brothers, Fred Broeder Jr. and Gordon Broeder, both of Kalispell; one sister, Fern Metcalf, Kalispell, and nieces and nephews.
