FAMILY SEARCH. When Herbert Alden Robertson was born on 5 February 1907, in Spanish Fork, Utah, Utah, his father, David Edward Robertson, was 37 and his mother, Rhoda Emily Snell, was 34. He married Arthella Carter on 17 June 1932, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. He lived in Chinook, Blaine, Montana in 1950 with his wife and four children, where he was a chemist.

He died on 18 May 1974, in Burlington, Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 67 of a heart ailment, while serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A retired chemist for Utah-Idaho Sugar Company, he served eighteen years in the National Guard, was an active Scout leader, a High Priest, and Branch President for the LDS Church. Besides his wife and four children, eleven grandchildren, five brothers and a sister mourned his death. Funeral services were held in the Midvale LDS Stake Center in Midvale, Utah with burial in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
