December 1975 - SPANISH FORK. An 82 year old lady, Myrl Olsen Christensen will exhibit 28 of her paintings at the Spanish Fork City Library during January.

Mrs. Christensen has painted for 36 years, she began painting in 1940. She has studied with B. F. Larsen, Glen Turner, Paul Salisbury and two years at Utah Technical College in Provo. This is her first time for a one-women exhibit. However, she has participated in city exhibits and has exhibited her work with other artists at Utah Technical College.

Mrs. Christensen is a native of Spanish Fork and has lived here all her life. She married Joseph M. Olsen and they became the parents of 10 children. She has eight living children, 56 grandchildren, and 129 great grandchildren. She married Albert Christensen in 1956 and he passed away in 1973.

Active in the LDS Church she has served in the Relief Society, Primary and MIA. She was a captain in the DUP four different times.
