Born Oct 1, 1903 in Uniontown, he was the son of Samuel and Eva Bryson Adams. He was married June 21, 1927 to Vera Hile, who survives.
A Penn State University graduate of 1929, he was a member of the Pleasant Gap Fire Co, and the Pleasant Gap Fire Co., and the Rotary Club. Mr. Adams was a member of the Pleasant Gap Methodist Church, where was a lay leader and for many years superintendent of the Sunday school. He was member of Old Fort Lodge, F. and A.M. No.537; of Williamsport Consistory; Jaffa Shrine of Altoona; Nittany Council no.57, Royal and Select Masons of State College.
Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons: Philip Adams of Pleasant Gap and David Adams of Bellefonte; two brothers: Clyde Adams of Pleasant Gap and Dale Adams of rural Uniontown; two sisters: Mrs. Joseph P Hood of Wilkinsburg and Mrs. Claude B Hood of Johnson City, Tennessee; and five grandchildren.
