Mrs. Anna E. Page, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Hart, was born in Washington township, Clinton county, Jan. 18, 1848, and died at her late home in Mulberry, May 27, 1920, aged 77 years, 4 months and 9 days.

On August 3, 1865, she was joined in Holy Wedlock with Freeman Page and they shared each other's joys and sorrows for nearly 55 years. To this union three children were born, Mary I., wife of Chalmer Miller; Luie E., who died in infancy, and Amy A., wife of Seymour Clendenning. After their marriage they settled in the home where Seymour Clendenning now lives, and 22 years ago moved to Mulberry, thus her whole life was spent in this county and vicinity.

On July 3, 1881, under the pastorate of Rev. Madison C. Peters, she became a member of Trinity Reformed Church and continued a faithful member of the same the remainder of her life.

For over two years she was a constant sufferer and nearly an invalid from rheumatism. At about eleven o'clock, Sunday morning, as she was preparing dinner, she had a stroke of apoplexy, which caused her death on Thursday at 10 a. m.

There remain to mourn her departure, her aged companion, two daughters, and three grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted in Trinity church by Pastor Sigrist, Sunday afternoon. The burial was at Fair Haven.
