A native of Clinton county, she was the daughter of Freeman and Anna (Hart) Page and was born August 5, 1872. She was married to J. Seymour Clendenning August 8, 1894. He preceded her in death August 28, 1932.
Mrs. Clendenning was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ and was a charter member of the Madison Township Home Demonstration club.
She is survived by a son, Karl P. Clendenning and a daughter, Mrs. Rowe V. Fickle, both of Frankfort route 6; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Burial was in the Fair Haven cemetery.
