GRAND COTEAU -- Funeral services were to be held at 10 a.m. today at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church here for Mrs. Cyrus Roy, 52, the former Minnie Smith, who died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Grand Coteau.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a school teacher for 21 years at Arnaudville and had been teaching in Sunset for the past three years.
Survivors include her husband, Cyrus Roy of Grand Coteau; her mother, Mrs. Edwin S. Smith; one son, Edwin C. Roy, both of Grand Coteau; three sisters, Miss Myrtle Smith of Grand Coteau, Mrs. P. J. Breaux of Lafayette; and Mrs. H. E. Harper of Sunset; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. A. N. Durio of Sunset.
The Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro is in charge of arrangements.
