On March 9, 1915, he was married to Mrs. Elizabeth Zeiters, who remains to mourn his loss. He was baptized a number of years ago in the Christian union faith and has ever lived a consistent Christian life.
About 10 years ago he was badly afflicted for a long time, but bore his suffering patiently and uncomplainingly. He recovered from his illness, for the Master saw that his work was not done.
He was honorable in his activities of life, and charitable in judgment. His kindly face and friendly greetings will be missed in the community where he lived so long. Deeply as we regret his passing away, our loss will be his gain.
He leaves to mourn, a wife, three children, two grandchildren, two brothers, John and Andrew, six sisters, Margaret Foster, Nancy Stants, Lydia Powers, Delilah Franks, Eva Gamber, and Lizzie Headley, besides a host of other relatives and friends. Steuben Republican
