Larry D. Bailey, 62, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2001. Mr. Bailey was a 27 year resident of Jacksonville, Fla. and retired from the US Navy in 1976 after 22 years service. After his military retirement, he worked for Florida Steel for a period of 13 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Nancy Bailey, son, Larry D. Bailey II, daughters, Lisa Wright ( Lee) and Donna Ford ( Bryan), brother, James E. Bailey ( Ima Jean), sister, Alice Faye Simons ( Sherman), grandchildren, Jessie, Craig, Jody, Crissy, Mallory, Brandy and Ethan. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 15, 2001, 2:00 PM in the chapel of JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, Fla. with Rev. G.A. Oglesby officiating. Friends may visit on Thursday evening (tonight) from 6 until 8 PM.
