Ms. Anna Jean Tate, 73, of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

Ms. Tate was born June 20, 1940, in Delaplaine, Arkansas, to Arthur and Zella Cannon.

Ms. Tate was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed sewing, reading, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Kim Davidson and son, Jimmy Ray Tate, both of Paragould; five grand-children, Jordan Crawford, Laura Bramlett, Leslie Fry, Shannon Manness and Katie Davidson; a great-grandson, Tyler Joseph Pitts; and a host of other family and friends.

Ms. Tate was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Karen Renee Tate.

Memorial services were in the Delaplaine Baptist Church fellowship hall under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
