She was born on December 18, 1930, in Delaplaine, AR.
She was a homemaker, a volunteer at the Delaplaine School and a member of the Delaplaine Baptist Church. Mrs. Thomen loved knitting, crocheting and she liked to work in her flower bed.
Survivors include: four sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Stephanie Thomen of Lucedale, Mississippi, Gary and Carolyn Thomen of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Larry and Cynthia Thomen of Haltom City, Texas, Roger Thomen of Delaplaine, two daughters and a son-in-law, Brenda and Ron Willett of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Debra Thomen of Little Rock, one sister, Jean Tate of Paragould, five grandchildren and five great grand-children.
Mrs. Thomen was preceded in death by: her husband, Jack Thomen, her parents A.M. and Zella Cannon, two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were at the Delaplaine Baptist Church, burial was in Jones Ridge Cemetery. Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould was in charge of arrangements.
