DEARBORN, Mich. Alexander Greco, 90, of Dearborn, Mich., passed away Feb. 25, 2006, at the Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn.
He was born July 20, 1915, in Bagnoli, Del Trigno, Italy, the son of the late Domenico and Michelina Finamore Greco. His wife, Madelyn Finamore Greco; three sisters; and his brother, Joseph Greco, also preceded him in death.
Alex was Catholic by faith. He retired from Plumbers Local 98, where he was a journeyman plumber. He loved fishing, hunting and golf.
He is survived by his son, Michael Greco and his wife, Debbie, of Dearborn; grandsons, Christopher and Stephen Greco, of Dearborn; brothers, John Greco, of Boca Raton, Fla., and Victor Greco, of Weirton, W.Va.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St. Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 11 a.m. at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton. Interment will be at St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
A memorial service will be held in Dearborn, Mich., at a later date.
